1942 PACKARD CLIPPER |
Packard produced upmarket motorcars for a discerning clientele and tended to be associated, as shown here, with 'old money'. Designed by Darrin, this big Clipper had flowing fenders and a narrow grille offset by horizontal spars. Power was provided by a 356 cubic-inch straight-eight, which made this a true 100 mph automobile. |
