From 1949 Nash had the all-new 'Airflyte' bodywork in the style also later known as: 'Bathtub'. Conceived originally in 1943 by Holden Koto and Ted Pietsch, these revolutionary cars featured 'Weather-Eye' interior heating, 'U-flex' oil rings, and 'Uniscope' gauges. Pneumatic mattresses were also available for ultimate cushion-comfort. Engines were 235 cubic-inch Sixes. |
