Inside, the friendly proprietor, one assumes Mr. Quakkelstein himself, presided over one of those places crowded with shelves and bays with almost no place to walk. Contents ranged from RT-68s to a _modern _ 1kW SSB ship _s transceiver, but mostly odd parts, components, tank coils, tubes, etc., etc. Once again, three stars, worth the visit.

  • VIDEO DISPLAY, INC., Atlanta, GA, USA (00 1 800-241 5005). CRT rebuilders. Most of their business is the CRTs in airport displays, ATM machines, and bowling alley displays. The division here does the above listed tubes, but there is a division in Pennsylvania that does _entertainment _ type CRTs. This includes colour, black and white, and the high intensity lamps for big-screen _projection _ TV sets. They stock many CRTs, but are more than willing to rebuild one that they do not have on hand.
